Flagship Service
Paint Correction
Every vehicle’s paint takes a beating over years of Newark winters, road salt, sun exposure, and daily parking lot dings. Paint correction is the machine-polishing process that reverses that wear, removing swirl marks, oxidation, and light scratches to restore clarity and depth. It’s the foundation every ceramic coating package builds on, and it’s also offered here as a standalone service for anyone who just wants their paint looking right again.
1-STEP CORRECTION
Restore the shine
A single-pass machine polish that removes light swirling and restores gloss. The right call for paint that’s faded but not heavily damaged, most daily drivers fall into this category.
2-STEP CORRECTION
Full correction
A compounding pass to cut through heavier defects, followed by a finishing polish to bring back clarity. Built for paint with deeper scratches, heavier oxidation, or years of neglect.
How we approach every exterior job
Whether it’s a quick wash or a full correction, the same inspection and prep process happens first, in our Newark, Delaware shop.
01 — INSPECTION
Assess the paint
We check for swirl depth, oxidation, and problem areas before recommending 1-step or 2-step correction, not the other way around.
02 — DECONTAMINATION
Wash and clay
A full hand wash followed by a clay bar treatment lifts embedded contaminants that washing alone leaves behind.
03 — CORRECTION & PROTECTION
Polish and seal
Machine polishing to the level the paint actually needs, finished with a wax or sealant layer to protect the work.
Wash and protection packages
Every vehicle that comes through our bay, from work trucks to daily commuters, gets the same standard of care.
Full Exterior Wash
Hand wash, wheels, and tires, done right every time.
Clay Bar Treatment
Lifts embedded contaminants a wash alone can’t remove.
Wax & Sealant
A protective layer between your paint and the road.
Trim & Plastic Restoration
Faded black trim brought back to a deep, even finish.
Real technical experience, not just a sales pitch
We’ve been in the automotive trade since 1993, and running a dedicated detail shop in Newark since 2018, long enough to know how paint actually holds up over years of Delaware winters, road salt, and daily commuting.
Questions we get about exterior services
Do I need paint correction before ceramic coating?
Yes, always. Coating over existing swirl marks or haze seals those imperfections in permanently. Every ceramic coating package we offer includes correction first.
How do I know if I need 1-step or 2-step correction?
We inspect the paint before recommending either. Light daily wear usually needs 1-step. Heavier oxidation, deeper scratches, or paint that hasn’t been maintained in years usually needs 2-step.
Is this only for nice cars, or does it work on work trucks too?
Most of what comes through our bay is daily drivers and work vehicles, not show cars. The process and standard of care is the same regardless of what’s parked in the bay.
How often should I wash and wax my car?
A wax or sealant layer typically needs reapplying every few months depending on how the car is parked and driven. We can recommend a schedule based on your specific vehicle.
